5th December 2008 Windsurfing: Titchfield Haven Wind Direction: NW Wind Stength: F4 Surf / Sea State: Flat Air Temperature: 5 Sea Temperature: 8 Weather: Intermittent sun Max Speed: Distance Covered: A day off, chilly NW winds and beautiful sun caused me to meet Jonathan at Hill Head, then move to Titchfield Haven, a new venue for me. Yeah the 5.5 was a bit marginal, but the pushme-pullyu board did its thing, and we spent 2 hours on the water, mostly in warming, exhilarating sun, before my feet finally decided they couldn't find the straps any more and I had to stop before they fell off. Note to self: visit Andy Biggs for some of those (unleaking!) Atan boots... And the first of my new fin bolts worked marvellously - only 99 to go! If you need a fin bolt... |
